Greg Vanden-Eykel presents at the Arthritis Foundation Juvenile Arthritis Family Day

Greg Vanden-Eykel was the keynote speaker at the Arthritis Foundation of Rhode Island Juvenile Arthritis Family Day at McCoy Stadium on July 8, 2017. The presentation focused on special education services, reasonable accommodations, and the legal rights of families of children with disabilities.

Greg represents families, charter schools, and traditional school districts across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. His education practice focuses on special education and accommodation rights, employment law, student discipline, and educational policy development. Greg regularly appears before administrative agencies and Courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island on behalf of both families and schools. In addition to his education practice, Greg represents clients in matters concerning nursing home liability, medical malpractice, environmental disputes, and insurance defense.

The Arthritis Foundation hosts juvenile arthritis (JA) family events throughout the year to help kids and their families live better with JA and other childhood rheumatic disease. These programs are informative and supportive events that deal with various aspects of living with JA, including an overview of the disease, medications, pain management techniques, exercise and more.
